Objective of Session – “Governance, Ethics & Responsible Technology”

The session “Responsible Engineering: Ethics, Equity & Governance” aims to position engineering as a discipline that not only drives innovation but also safeguards equity, justice and institutional integrity. It emphasizes the role of engineers in reducing inequalities, embedding ethical practices in technology development and strengthening governance frameworks. By aligning with SDGs 10 and 16, the session highlights how responsible engineering can foster inclusive growth, build trust in institutions and ensure that technological progress contributes to a fair and just society.
